The Snyder Royal speed plate was originally offered in the late 70s and was intended to position itself among the elite speed skaters of the time. Essentially a super light version of the Snyder Imperial, never really caught on much in the 70s but has seen a new following for the future. Completely redesigned using state of the art machining techniques we have drastically reduced weight but not sacrificing strength. Truly one of the lightest plates on the market. As always, every Snyder plate is 100% made in the USA.
